Epic Melodeath from Helsinki, Finland

Originally formed in 2008 in Helsinki, SIGYN operate within what can best be described as “Epic Melodeath” – a powerful blend of heavy riffs, fast-paced aggression, and memorable melodies, occasionally enriched with symphonic elements. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000s Finnish metal scene, the band fuses intensity and atmosphere into a modern yet unmistakably classic melodic death metal sound.

Following their debut album “Dehumanized” (2023), which earned a spot in Kaaoszine’s “Top 10 Albums of the Year” list, SIGYN quickly established themselves as one of the rising names in the Finnish extreme metal underground. The next single “The Real Me” further expanded their reach, receiving airplay on both Radio Helsinki and Radio Rock.

With from Nation To Chaos – the band’s upcoming sophomore full-length album  set for release on July 10,  SIGYN continues to refine their identity – combining soaring melodies, relentless riffing, and an epic sense of scale that will appeal to fans of Children Of Bodom, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, and Cradle Of Filth.
